Capture a Memory

Have you ever walked by a beautiful piece of architecture and taken a photograph? Ever let that photograph gather dust in the depths of your phone or camera? I did this CONSTANTLY and wanted to find a way to capture these moments of beauty and the feeling they gave me.

Having specialised in laser cutting during my University Design degree, I realised I could create pieces of art that depicted the moment you walked past and portray a memory. Focusing primarily on architecture, the pieces are made from laser cut wood, separated into layers and back-lit through doors or windows.

Charlotte Willis Designs was born upon my graduation from university and I wasted no time in experimenting and creating a product that I felt was truly unique.

I am now set up in my own studio in Hertfordshire and create bespoke artwork for my customers, who come to me for the perfect gift, either for birthdays, weddings or simply for a unique piece of art for their home.
