British Baby Box

Our British Baby Boxes are designed to keep your bundle of joy safe and sound as they sleep. They can easily be moved around and are incredibly versatile, featuring a bespoke lid that doubles up as a handy changing mat and the ability to be adapted and used as a storage box in future to keep your treasured baby memories in one place. Born out of a Finnish tradition which sees all new parents given a Baby Box as part of a maternity package, we have added a really British twist. Our packages come with a range of organic, ethical, beautiful bedding, clothing and accessories all made here in the UK.

Since 1938, expectant parents in this northern European country have been given a Baby Box by the state – preparing them for the arrival of their baby.

It works like a starter kit and is bursting full of clothes, bedding, toys and information for new parents.

What’s more, the sturdy Baby Boxes can be used as baby’s first bed - and experts say this element has been responsible for helping Finland achieve one of the world's lowest infant mortality rates.
