Amos Owens Moonshine

Bold flavours and a new raw ingredient brought together the old fashioned way

Born in North Carolina, USA in 1822 Amos Owens was the son of Irish Immigrents to the states. After a troublesome youth and brushes with the law he came to own a barren mountain on which nothing could grow. To everyones surprise, Amos planted cherry trees which grew. Once ripe he would collect the cherries and begin the process of 'stillin' on his farm away from prying eyes. His delicious mix of cherries, honey and spirit led to him being known as the Jack Daniels of Moonshine and saw his delicious liquor spread throughout the mid west. Well known to the authorities it wasnt uncommon for Amos to be recieveing his fine all while his crew would be selling his moonshine outside the court room to pay for his sins. His Irish American drawl declaring "it wasn't me jedge".

Amos's legendary method of distilling on copper stills brings liqour making back to its roots whilst our raw ingredients give a flavour and a finish few can believe.
