Happy and colourful recycled flowers, made with love from used and littered plastic bottles.

Hello, I’m Aimee, an artist and maker from Kent. I create beautiful bouquets of unique recycled flowers from used plastic bottles and transform them beyond recognition, in joyful, optimistic colours.

Each flower takes around 45 minutes to make, cut and shaped by hand and coloured using home made dyes. The centre stamen has over 140 tiny hand cuts per flower, and this all happens from my dining room table!

Did you know, only 12% of our household plastic gets recycled? The rest is dumped abroad, or burnt or buried in the UK. It’s safe to say our recycling system doesn’t work! Sometimes I feel like my recycled plastic bottle flowers are so insignificant compared to the scale of the problem, but it’s better for us all to do our little part than do nothing at all!

All the plastic for my flowers has been used, I go litter picking in my local community as well as collecting from friends, neighbours and local businesses.
