Zaza Shelley is a British wildlife artist and she works primarily in ink and watercolour. Her style is loose because she paints most of her images directly from life. When she's not in her studio, she is out on walks or on farms painting and drawing.
Zaza has created a range of work especially for Not On The High Street which includes more of her open-edition pieces. These have a more illustrative style and tend to be fun and affordable purchases to hang in a space at home or to give as gifts. Her 'day to day' studio work consists of large original pieces which hang in galleries in the UK. These are detailed and considered and take a considerable length of time to create each piece. Her shopfront here on NOTHS on the other hand is quirky and light and a great place to pick up a Zaza piece if you don't want a large original!
Zaza works alongside Joanna Moyle and together they have created a range of framed prints, both open edition and limited edition.
