Sonkai Jewellers

Sonkai is an independent working jewellers, based in ancient and beautiful Norwich, Norfolk. We are family-run and owned; whilst honest and professional about our work, we are most of all friendly and approachable.

Our professionally trained goldsmith and designer specialise in creating beautiful one-off commissions for our customers, using either new materials or a customer's own metal and / or stones.

The Sonkai look and style is contemporary, elegant and finished to the highest standard. We complete as much of the work as we can by hand in-store, from the metal work to stone setting, taking great care over each item.

We work in silver, all types of gold, platinum and palladium. Everything we produce is carefully and respectfully sourced and all our work is only ever made in Britain - mostly from our open-plan workshop within the store.

This year Sonkai has celebrated 10 years in business. We have just won a design award for the Gem-A association at a London Jewellery show and a commission for Norwich City Council; to re-design and make new civic chains for the Lord Mayor and Sheriff of Norwich.
