Hello! We are a husband and wife team. Kate is an illustrator and author and has worked on many picture books. She loves nothing more than spending her days illustrating and designing. Derek has long been a craftsman and maker, but is finally fulfilling is woodworking ambitions, after a long creative career in catering. During lockdown we both realised we had a rare opportunity to combine our skills and work together . . . and that is when Skye Folk was born. As well as the products you can see in the store, there are many more ideas to share in the coming months . . .
