We're on a mission!

Rowdy Kind is the first plastic-free bath & bodycare brand for kids. Our mission is to make bath time plastic free. Let's raise the bath bar together!

Rowdy Kind started with a series of challenging questions from my son in the bath.

“Why do we use plastic bottles if they are so bad?” and “Why are you still using baby shampoo on me?” started the search for a better bathtime solution. I wanted something that was made of quality ingredients and specifically formulated for kids’ sensitive skin, and my son wanted something that wasn’t for babies, gender neutral (not Pink vs Blue), was “Cool and Fun” and most importantly plastic free!

It was clear pretty quickly that the perfect option didn't exist.

And if we didn't do it, no one would!

Today Rowdy Kind is on a mission to make bath time plastic free.

Our Values

Rowdy Kind was founded with sustainability and ethics at its core.

Our first act upon launching in March 2020 was to donate all the profit from our first production run to the Surrey Care Trust’s crisis appeal. We have continued to support national charities including YoungMinds and Ocean Generation.

We focus our charitable giving on organisations that put young people at the heart of problem solving. Rowdy Kind was started because kids told us they wouldn’t accept plastic in the bath tub any more - empowering young people to lead and solve the world’s biggest problems is a founding value for Rowdy Kind.

Rowdy Kind is also inherently all about sustainability. Each bar prevents the use of 2 plastic bottles. All our packaging is 100% paper and fully recyclable. We use only the lowest-carbon delivery methods for consumers, and we offset our own unavoidable shipping emissions. Finally, Rowdy Kind saves c. 80% of the emissions in transport of the bottled equivalent due to the concentrated nature of the products.
