Unique illustrations made with love in Wales
Growing up around nature meant I was captivated from a young age by the beauty of the natural world. Making scrapbooks of dried flowers and painting plants and animals on pebbles was always something I loved to do. Then my grandfather gave me my first set of watercolours and paintbrushes when I was 8 years old and I was absolutely hooked. A couple of years ago a close friend encouraged me to start sharing my artwork online and Papervita was created from there. You will find plants and flowers in every illustration and one of my favourite things to create is the night sky. I'm a bit of a dreamer and stargazer at heart and I think it adds a touch of magic to any illustration.
It's All About The Process
My love for the process of creating art is what drives me and my business and that is why all of my prints are lovingly made to order, making each one totally unique. A close friend asked me to design the wedding invitations for her big day and I fell in love with the process of creating something personal and special for her. Whether it's created from a photograph of a special place or a description of your favourite things, each illustration will be completely personalised for you.
My designs include alphabet prints which are perfect for a new arrival or a nursery and initial engagement and wedding prints. I also create illustrations based on favourite places or wedding venues to capture those special memories.
