Based in Manchester, Paint Away Events was founded me (Frida) An English teacher by day and artist/business owner in my spare time, I'm also a mum to two girls both under three! It was my husband who inspired me to start Paint Away Events in January 2020, after I found myself suffering from post-natal anxiety after the birth of their eldest daughter. Looking for an outlet, I took up painting and haven't looked back since. But of course covid hit us all, my maternity leave ended and I put this passion on hold.

After taking a break during the height of the pandemic, I returned in April 2021 - having had over 100s of events since then, and more than 1000 people attending them!

The popularity of Paint Away Events has inspired me to now launch the magic of painting with our Paint Away at Home kits! And here we are...
