Hi i'm Joy, founder of Joyous Acts, a small mum-run business helping women and children find their joy.

Joy is found within us, but we have to tune in to hear it over the busyness and stress of the modern world.

In 2010 I was a lonely 30 something, unsure of my future. I was a bit unhappy so, I blogged a Joyous Act (of kindness) every day for a year.

This was the start of my bumpy road to joy.

10 years and a global pandemic later, this inspired the creation of my first product, The Joyous Journal which launched to rave reviews.

Lone parent to an awesome five year old boy, our relationship inspired the development of my second product, the Joyous Kids Cards which launched in 2022.

I am passionate about cultivating joy in our lives and the lives of our children. I believe that true joy (not fake happy) comes from connection to self, others and the planet and grows through kindness.
