I started Balancing Act Candle Co. in late 2020 when I had a lot of free time during the pandemic. I remember running home from my part time nannying job when I got an email saying my first batch of fragrance oils had been delivered because I couldn't wait to start finding my favourite scents. My first three candles were all essential oil blends - one to help you sleep, one to help give you a boost and one to help with focus. I would pour the candles in my kitchen after melting the wax in a saucepan and pack orders on my living room floor. Since then I have expanded the shop to carry more blends, gift boxes, wax melts, diffusers and some homewares and work out of a little studio.

All of the candles are hand poured, labelled and packed by me in the studio and are vegan, cruelty free and ethically made. I hope that my blends bring some calm, joy and balance to your home.
