We have been gathering willow from Isabelle's spinney over the last couple of months, and have harvested some beautiful colours including custard yellows, reds and greens. We were planning to hold them back until Christmas but just couldn't resist designing an Easter Egg Tree to decorate your house with.
Here we have approx 20 willow stems of mixed yellow, red and green measuring approx 110cms long. We have decorated the willow tree with 12 pastel patterned hanging eggs that are delivered inside two egg boxes.
We use the willow tree in our kitchen, where we decorate it all year round with seasonal finds from around the farm and it looks fabulous at Christmas time with some vintage chandelier drops and ribbon hanging from it. So once Easter is over, save the eggs for nex year in their boxes and keep the willow in a decorative tin, vintage plant pot or vase and use it to tell the story of the seasons.
NOTE: The Olive recycled tin does not come with it, but if you like the look, just check out your local Deli or Italian restaurant.
