Our caterpillar hair barettes are delicately hand crafted from wool felt by Fair Trade artisans and include intricate beaded detailing.

Additionally the cute creature makes a perfect stocking filler or party bag present, make a unique gift for any occasion, as a stocking filler, maybe a small present or a great budget gift.

Please note that these hair clips are not suitable for young children.

Made from

All our felt products are made by one of the leading Fair Trade felt makers in Nepal, Aaha felt.

A Fair Trade company, they have so far empowered over 100 women, providing work and training of traditional crafts within some of the poorest communities.

The felt is handmade from merino wool using traditional methods. Instead of weaving the wool, felt is created by applying heat, moisture and pressure to the wool to entangle the fibres and create a beautiful end result.

The felt is coloured using only natural dyes and is colourfast.

Care guide: The felt clip can be hand washed but make sure to use cool water as the material is sensitive to temperature.

For stubborn stains use gentle soap only.

Each clip comes with a hair barrette fastening.
