A genuine vintage French botanical chart framed in a beautiful solid oak frame to add a touch of vintage to your home.
This print was used in French schools and was part of a box set of vintage prints which were used in the biology lessons. This print depics the 'Andromeda Polifolia'' also named the Bog Rosemary, which gets it's name from only being found in bogs in cold peat-accumulating areas. On the back of the print there is a full explanation and description of the shrub in French and on the front the name is printed in both Latin and French. The colour are lovely and the white and greens are fresh.
This handmade plate was screen printed in 1959 and we have one in stock.
