This delicate piece of artwork is created using pressed wildflowers and stitched on upcycled fabric using words of your choice.
'Where flowers bloom so does hope' is carefully freehand embroidered onto the lightweight voile fabric. It is possible to have words of your choice embroidered as well / instead for a small extra charge.
The words are stitched in cream thread onto translucent cream fabric resulting in a very subtle finish (please see photos)
Featuring 5 wildflowers (in a mix of blue, yellow and white) which were collected by artist, Zoe Gibbons, during the summer and pressed using her personalised flower press (see listing https://www.notonthehighstreet.com/zoegibbons/product/personalised-botanical-flower-press).
This is a limited edition piece, each one is unique and created from real wildflowers so flower placement and material pattern placement will vary (Zoe always uses her artistic eye to make it pleasing :)
Due to the very delicate nature of this piece it is supplied in a perspex protective shield. On removal from this shield if the artwork is knocked it will break so please display very carefully and out of the reach of small hands!
The dried pressed flowers will fade in strong sunlight so best displayed out of direct sun.
There is the option for this artwork to be mounted in a fair trade, sustainably sourced, metal edged frame if you think it might need to be in a more protected environment!
