The Shoreditch collection is made using reclaimed wood salvaged from old boats and buildings in southern India; places such as Gujarat, Maharashtra and Rajasthan.
The aged timbers are typically between fifty and one hundred and fifty years old and are assembled by skilled craftsmen who create this characterful and eye-catching furniture.
Variations
As each piece in the range is hand finished using a unique blend of reclaimed timbers every item is truly individual and environmentally friendly.
The wood is finished with a resilient satin lacquer which is hardwearing yet emphasises the beautiful colour and character in the timber.
A beautifully made steel outer frame gives a stylish urban edge whilst also offering great structural rigidity. In character a solid iron handle complements this piece beautifully.
This is a solidly constructed piece of furniture and no assembly is required. The build quality is exceptional and designed to last a lifetime.
