The stag is a really popular image in contemporary Christmas stationery and decorations this year. I've hand carved this rubber stamp of a running stag as a simple silhouette with just a touch of whimsy with its curled antlers.
Perfect for hand stamping on Kraft paper in reds or golds to create as a simple but effective gorgeous gift wrap. Don't forget to stamp a matching gift tag too! It will easily double as a reindeer or moose
The stamped image measures approx. 4cm x 4.8cm (1 1/2" x 1 7/8").
The stamp will come mounted on wooden blocks for ease of stamping. All stamps are intricately carved by hand, not mass produced and made to order.
Please note: my stamps are not suitable for young children and do not come with any ink pads.
Pigment ink pads are available to purchase separately at £2 each for a small pad (2.5cm x 2.5cm) or £5 - £6 for a large pad (7.6cm x 4.7cm). I recommend pigment ink to get the best results with the rubber I use and the pads are raised so you don't necessarily need the same size pad for your stamp. Ink pads are fade resistant and non-toxic. Please note the White colour is not as opaque as the other colour ink pads (there are very few white ink pads manufactured which are, unfortunately) but this is one of the more opaque ones available.
Everything in the Skull and Cross Buns range is painstakingly designed and hand carved by me! The rubber I carve into is extremely durable unlike some of the other softer carving mediums available which can potentially wear away like a traditional eraser does.My stamps are mounted on wooden blocks for ease of stamping. The stamp may vary very slightly from the picture shown; such is the nature of it being hand carved. I always work from the same master copy, though. Also during busy periods I may have to use a slightly different sized wooden block than the one shown, it will always be perfectly suitable for the stamp though.The stamp may have some ink staining; all stamps are tested whilst being carved and then used to create the index image on the wooden block. This is unavoidable to ensure the image is nice and clear but any staining will not affect your stamping. Simply clean the stamps by dabbing into a damp kitchen towel or alcohol free baby wipe, do not rub the stamps.Please read my shop policies and shop home page for additional information. Have made fantastic Christmas gift tags with this and the Noel rubber stamp, which have turned out wonderful, if I do say so myself!

This took quite a while to come, but is a really good stamp, and i got an email from the company telling me it when it would arrive just after ordering it, so I knew there would be a delay.
