These unique sports kit bags are made from recycled sailcloth fabric and are decorated with large sail letters and/or numbers.
These great kit bags have been designed to be both useful and stylish. They will withstand the rigours of all extreme sport environments be it sailing, rugby, or that crazy weekend away. Our round ended sailcloth kit bags can be personalised with up to two numbers or letters of your choice. The hand cut numbers and letters are available in a choice of different colours and are sewn on with traditional sailmakers zigzag stitch.
The numbers/letters are placed on top of the bag and are separated by a robust, nylon zip in a choice of colours with a slider and pull cord.
The bags are made from recycled sailcloth, or, if unavailable from new, top quality, white sailcloth. The round ends are stitched in with three rows of stitching with sailmakers thread.
There are six internal pockets, that reinforce the navy blue webbing handles. The handles go right round the body of the bag to provide extra strength and support.
The small kit bag has longer length navy blue webbing handles which means the bag can be worn over the shoulder.
The medium and large kit bags have navy blue webbing handles as well as an extra layer of navy blue acrylic canvas sewn on to the base to add extra protection.
N.B. Recycled sails are thoroughly washed and scrubed before we carefully select areas to be made up into bags. It is inevitable some marks such as rust, verdis gris from bronze hanks, iron and fading will remain in the sailcloth. We do try to avoid any marks like this when cutting out the bag. Old sailcloth has a wonderful quality and a patina that is desirable, as well as a nautical history sailing the seas. It is for these very reasons that we have chosen to use recycled sailcloth for this bag.
Dimensions: Small: 50 cm length x 25 cm diameter. Medium: 50 cm length x 32 diameter. Large: 60 cm length x 38 diameter
Capacity: Small: 24.5 litres. Medium: 40 litres. Large: 60 litres.
Care instructions: Machine washable at 30 degrees centrigrade on a synthetic cycle using a small amount of eco-friendly powder. Hang to dry naturally. Please do not use bleach, tumble dry or dry clean.
