Unique to More Than Words, the personalised 'SPECIAL SERVICE' bus blind framed canvas.
Based on the scrolling blinds on the front of old routemaster buses and in the style of our original vintage-inspired bus blinds, this bespoke destination blind design is printed onto canvas and framed in a black ash, FSC approved, wood.
A special way to capture one of your favourite places or moments in time. Perhaps a house number and name, your favourite holiday location, wedding date or where you met your true love? Perfect for weddings, anniversaries and a really unique housewarming gift.
Each piece is professionally framed to our usual fine art standards and is available in two sizes:
Medium 60x25cm OR Large 70x30cm (+£30)
Simply enter your number, street name/place and select the text that you would like at the bottom of the design (SPECIAL SERVICE, HOME SWEET HOME, ONWARD JOURNEY, PERSONALISED TEXT (e.g. Just Married) -enter your personalised text in the last field).
Your artwork will be designed using an off-white vintage style transport font, printed onto a rich black canvas background. However, we are happy to offer BESPOKE COLOURS.

FINE ART STANDARDS
All artwork is produced using Giclée fine art printing with pigment-based UltraChrome and Ultra Violet (UV) inks for superior colours and longevity. These assure your print will remain vibrant for over 75 years. We aim for the highest print resolution possible.
Our museum-quality heavyweight 450gsm 100% matte cotton canvas is approved to Fine Art Trade Guild standards. Sturdy wooden support frames are made from FSC approved kiln-dried redwood pine, measuring a chunky 4.5cm deep. These premium stretcher bars are hand cut and planed to size, with a curved profile and rounded edges which ensures minimal contact with the front of the canvas, preventing cracking and impression marks.
Each piece of artwork is hand-stretched around the frame (a highly-skilled process) and finished on the rear with artists backing tape. The corners of each canvas are professionally trimmed and not folded so there will be no unsightly bulges around the edges. Our canvas is produced in a way that ensures you don't need to worry about sagging so there is no need for tightening wedges.
To complete the process, each piece of artwork is sprayed several times with a Fine Art approved satin varnish, which not only helps to add further protection against light and moisture but also enhances the inks and helps to protect against yellowing and marking.
