Chubby Stegosaurus Dinosaur Knitting Pattern

This dinosaur is the newest pattern from award-winning designer Addy Whitfield. A fun summer project for knitters who have mastered the basics and a lovely gift to knit for boys. The written pattern takes you step-by-step through knitting and making up this dino with explanations for each technique used. Worked on 4.5mm straight knitting needles, there is no knitting in the round needed to make this toy. You can knit him from any yarn you have in your stash but we recommend Stylecraft Chunky in Aspen and Spice (shown in picture)

To knit this pattern you will need to use these techniques:

kfb: Knitting in the front and back of a stitch to increase. Ssk: To decrease. Slip the next 2 stitches to the right needle. Insert the left needle into the fronts of these two stitches and knit them together. K2tog knit two stitches together (to decrease) K3tog knit three stitches together (to decrease)
