Celebrate Colour Star Sign Sun Moon Flower Earrings

My passion for colour has led me to make this collection of jewellery which looks at colour symbology and meaning. This collection has an astrology theme. For example for Taurus the birth stone colour is Emerald Green. This colour symbolises faithfullness, loyalty and friendship.

To design the earrings, I reduced the subject to simple shapes, so they became symbolic representations. For example, the round shape represents the shape of planets, linking to astrology. A circle is also a symbol of wholeness and our planet - where we are all connected. These earrings are designed to celebrate colour and diversity, whatever the age, race or gender, there are no boundaries. Circles have no endings - they symbolise eternity.

The round shape is also a symbol of both the sun and moon. The simplicity of design makes them suitable to be worn day and night, either with casual or smart clothes such as to work, celebrations, or events. Wear them anywhere! Whether you want to add a pop of colour, uplift your mood or generally raise the spirits, these earrings will bring light to your day!

As a trained textile designer l am interested in shape and pattern and from above, at a distance everything is reduced to simple shape and colour.

Each pair of earrings is made by hand to order. I make the earrings by moulding clay and then they are individually hand painted to match birth stone colours for each star or zodiac sign.

A gift that can be treasured for years to come. I individually carve the wooden stands that comes with the jewellery. This will arrive attached to the products. This enables the item to be stood up and displayed as you would a card. Alternatively display on a dressing table or shelf so they can be enjoyed even when they are not being worn. The packaging also enables this product to be hung up on the Christmas tree as a Christmas decoration or a tree gift!
