Variations
Included in the kit is two patterns, so you have the option to choose either a garter stitch or herringbone stitch – the choice is yours.
Made with chunky merino yarn, the Weekender blanket knits up really quickly and is super soft and cuddly.
Skill level: Beginner (garter stitch pattern) or intermediate (herringbone pattern)
Each Kit includes:
14 balls of Cheeky Chunky merino yarn
The Weekender Blanket knitting pattern – with both the garter and herringbone pattern
Knitting manual
Darning needle
Optional: 15mm chunky wooden knitting needles (these are used for the garter stitch blanket)
Optional: 20mm chunky wooden knitting needles (these are used for the herringbone blanket)
Care instructions: Hand wash and lay flat to dry
The stitches used in this pattern: Cast on, knit, purl and cast off.
This kit is for you to make at home and once complete you will have one knitted blanket.
The pictures show the main colour as seal (herringbone pattern) and natural grey (garter stitch pattern).
