Lovely vintage inspired coat hook board, with a design based on antique wooden coat rails found in old railway waiting rooms located on platforms up and down the English countryside.
This large wooden board has been handmade in our own workshop in Yorkshire, using genuine reclaimed Victorian wooden boards.
It has been given several paint finishes, rubbed back to show the texture, lumps and character of the wood. This has then been sign written by our time served painter in Picket Fence White.
The background is finished in Underground Blue, then given generous coats of brown wax to age and antique the paint. Four rustic Stationmaster cast iron coat hooks are mounted on the face.
It has four fixing holes, one in each corner. (Fittings supplied).
Measurements are W61cm x H45cm x D13cm (from the back of the board to the furthest part of the hook).
This would grace any town house,country cottage or station master's office.
