We love bees, wildflowers, nature and our beautiful planet, Earth. In our own little way, we want to help our flora and fauna thrive.
So many species of our wildflowers and the creatures that rely on them for survival are in decline or threatened with extinction. By growing wildflowers, we can all do our bit to help to reverse this situation. The wildflower seeds used in our seed packets are native to, and grown in, the UK. All beneficial to bees, butterflies, moths etc.
We want to encourage people to grow wildflowers and what better way for your guests to remember your wedding day, for example, than to see the flowers from your seed favours growing in their garden each year! Or, why not include our packets in your kids party bags to encourage an interest in gardening and nature? Our Christmas seed packets make a great alternative Christmas card too! A big part of our business is business promotional seed packets - a perfect way to show customers your green business ethos!
We want to help save Nature, one seed at a time!
Originally, the business was a wildflower nursery. Out of this developed the selling of wildflower seeds too, and, from this, the creation of beautiful seed packets for weddings, gifts and promotional events.
Being vegan meant that this ethos had to be extended into the business and the supplies used. So none of our products will contain animal by-products, eg, the glue used is plant-based. Hand-in-hand with a concern over not exploiting animals, comes a concern not to exploit the planet or its resources either, so we have ditched plastic. The only plastic you will find is upcycled in the packaging - we save all packaging received and re-use it rather than sending to landfill.
Our seed packets are made especially for us to our specification and are recycled. As for the seed sachets - unlike many seed suppliers who supply in plastic-lined foil sachets, we pack our seeds in glassine paper sachets. This paper can also be recycled and keeps the seeds fresh.
