We make three and four panel windbreaks from recycled sailcloth. Our beautiful beach windbreaks combine old with cool.
The three panel windbreak comes with four poles and three panels, each measuring approximately 1.2 metres high and 1 metre wide. All poles measure 1.5 metres high with a 2cm diameter and have metal tops and tips.
Made from used sails each windbreak is unique. No two windbreaks carry exactly the same design, which means your windbreak will be a one off! Our designs are split colour and white as in the photos. We recently made around 30 windbreaks for Holkham Hall Beach Cafe in Wells Next the Sea, Norfolk, which acts as an awning around the cafe veranda and looks striking.
Not only have we made many windbreaks to be used on the beach, we have made windbreaks for people to use around their caravans, to use next to their tents and recently to place around their decking. We have also made bespoke windbreaks personal to the customer so please get in touch with any query you may have, we can probably make it.
Hand stitched and made on the Isle of Wight, sails make for excellent windbreaks, they are strong, dry quickly and are easy to clean. We provide a free carry case which is made from used sails bags. In short, a totally recycled and upcycled product.
We receive sails daily so have different colours coming in all the time. If you have a preference or passionate dislike please let us know and we will do our best to accomodate.

Our sails come from a number of sources and each has its own story. Whether it is has battled the Southern Ocean, crossed the Atlantic or just sailed along the rivers it has earned the right to be turned into something beautiful. We respect old sails!
Our sails come from old dinghy schools, retired windsurfers, professional yachtsmen and women, and many more. Some have been in the garage for a while some are almost new but have no onward market. We save these sails from being buried on the land and save our environment at the same time.
