This beautiful natural toy basket brings back the tactile senses of times when toys were not all made of plastic and organic materials were a standard. And when the word toy basket actually still meant basket rather than plastic box.
This basket is hand made by women in Madagascar from Raffia. This makes a wonderful place for where your kids can keep their treasures and learn how to keep things tidy. With the wonderful details windows and doors that open, the basket even makes quite a creative toy itself.
The basket is carefully weaved and made entirely of Raffia. The lid is kept closed by button out of glass beads. Two handles make it easy to carry around anywhere. All the colours are natural dyes.
