A whimsical little hoop artwork, made from a mix of vintage and new materials, featuring a mountain of comfy mattresses.
The colourful pile of mattresses and pillow are appliquéd and freehand machine embroidered with the words 'I love my bed' and a little clock next to them.
The embroidery is done using a basic sewing machine fitted with a freehand embroidery foot. I cut the fabric to be appliqued and draw freehand straight onto the fabric using black thread. No fancy tools, I simply move the fabric under the needle.
Your hoop will come creatively wrapped using vintage wallpaper so you or the recipient of this gift feel super special!
Please note: The pile of mattresses in small (16cm) hoops is made from five instead of seven mattresses. The last photo is to help you get an idea of size, hoops featured are not included. Each hoop is unique due to the nature of freehand machine embroidery. There will be slight variations from the photos shown.
To make it extra special, this hoop can be personalised with your own message on the front (up to four words), or on the back (up to nine words), or both!
Available in purple, blue and green, turquoise and red, yellow or pink.
