A little embroidery artwork in a hoop for the gypsies at heart!
The colourful gypsy caravan (made from vintage cotton by Jonelle Duracolour) is appliquéd and freehand machine embroidered onto turquoise stripy Irish linen, along with the words 'gypsies at heart'.
The embroidery is done using a basic sewing machine fitted with a freehand embroidery foot. I cut the fabric to be appliqued and draw freehand straight onto the fabric using black thread. No fancy tools, I simply move the fabric under the needle.
Your hoop will come creatively wrapped using vintage wallpaper so you or the recipient of this gift feel super special!
Please note: The last photo is to help you get an idea of size, hoops featured are not included. Each hoop is unique due to the nature of freehand machine embroidery, which I think adds to the charm. There will be slight variations from the photos shown.
To make it extra special, this hoop can be personalised with your own message on the front (up to three words), or on the back (up to nine words), or both!
