Bored with the same small selection of rums available in supermarkets? Then we are just what you are looking for! The Rum Company is a dedicated online rum shop

It’s March 2020 in Tunbridge Wells, and two lads (Ed & Tom) are trying to work out what to do with their newly found spare time in lockdown. While choosing which tasty rum to order till this all blew over, Ed realised something… If you look hard enough, there are hundreds of under-promoted British rum brands out there that need a platform. Not only this, but you will never find these rums in a supermarket either!

Ed started researching everything it would take to create a voice for these brands online from ‘premises licences’, to ‘postage costs’, while Tom started on Branding this new idea. After a few months of hard work, The Rum Company was created with one mission in mind – to bring you a dedicated online shop that showcases, supports and sells the tastiest independent rums from all over Britain.

So whether you’re a novice, a long-term enthusiast, rum purist or a salty sea dog, The Rum Company is here to broaden your horizons, and help you find the rum that’ll hit the spot.

Delivery

Express UK delivery (2 working days if ordered before 6pm) is FREE. Deliveries are made Monday-Saturday. We currently only deliver to the UK. Deliveries outside of England may sometimes take an extra day.

We always aim to deliver your order promptly but cannot accept liability for delay. In the case of any free upgrade to express delivery, no refunds are due in the case of delayed delivery or service interruptions. We reserve the right to cancel the delivery if the age and identity of the recipient is in doubt.

If you have missed your attempted deliveries and your order is now being returned to us, we can re-send your order once it is received. Unfortunately we have no control over the amount of time this takes. Customer must pay for additional postage costs.

If your delivery has been lost in the post, please be as patient as you can. These things happen unfortunately and they normally turn up just a few days late. If you delivery is 4 days past your scheduled delivery date, please check your emails as DPD are probably trying to arrange another delivery attempt.

CHRISTMAS DELIVERY: We know you all know anyway, but any orders made after December 15th have a high chance of taking a bit longer to get to you. Orders made Christmas Eve - Boxing Day will be posted on the first following ‘non-bank holiday’ day. Thank you for your patience!

It is the responsibility of the customer to report goods damaged in transit. No compensation can be offered for loss of wages due to failed or late deliveries. Customers accept responsibility for the safe storage and use of the products upon receipt. The Rum Company is not liable for damage caused by customer mishandling.

RETURNS -

If there is a problem with your order, items are faulty, or you wish to return goods for any other reason, please contact us within 30 days of purchase. If you wish to return merchandise goods only, they must be returned unopened in their original packaging to us.

it is an offence for any person under 18 years to buy or attempt to buy alcohol. Please drink responsibly.

Please note that return shipping will be paid by the customer except in cases where goods are faulty, in which case they will be reimbursed to the customer. Once the goods are received back in our warehouse, a refund will be processed for the goods, minus applicable shipping costs, unless the return concerns faulty or damaged goods. The refund will appear in your account in 5 to 10 business days.

Refunds will not be issued in the instance of an order being placed outside the conditions of the delivery parameters stated on the checkout page. We shall not be liable to pay any compensation to you, other than any refund as stated above.
