The Plain Shop

The Plain Shop is a progressive lifestyle brand with a focus on simplicity and high quality, all through a novel minimalist branding concept!

After such a chaotic and complex year, we wanted to create something simple, that everyone could understand - and through it's simplicity, build a community that everyone can be a part of! So in 2020 we came out with our flagship designs, the "Plain White Tee" & "Plain Black Tee". Since then we've been on a mission to fully actualise the potential of this concept!

However due to the simplicity of our Plain Apparel, we wanted a meaningful creative outlet - and after months of development we released the Plain Decks - our line of bespoke playing cards featuring 14 uniquely designed black royalty on the face cards - finally putting the black in blackjack!

"It is what it is" is a mantra that has helped countless people worldwide deal with the day to day stresses of life, and is the core ethos of our concept.

The Plain Team is comprised of both Ayo (Founder) and Emma (Illustrator) and we are committed to actualising the true potential of this concept by showing the world that there is inherent value in simplicity.
