We'll find an original copy of the vinyl record (or CD single) for you and frame it for posterity, with your own personalised message inscribed and mounted behind glass inside the frame. It's the perfect gift idea for a birthday or wedding anniversary.
You can check what was Number One on any date on the Official Charts Company website. (Make sure you select the "Official Single Chart Top 100".)
The record you have chosen will be beautifully mounted behind glass inside your choice of a natural or black wood or aluminium silver frame which is supplied ready for hanging.
Other frame styles and mount colours are available so if you would like something different please ask us and we'll do our best to help.
The vinyl record or CD will be firmly secured to the mount board and is not designed to be removed easily for playing.
Please note: the type of record and size of frame depends on the year it was released
The record we frame will usually be a 7-inch vinyl single and we will use a 30cm x 40cm frame. But if the year was 1995 or later it will probably be a CD single which comes in a smaller 30cm x 30cm frame. Framed 7" and CD singles cost £85.00 each including delivery.
If the year was 1957 or earlier the record will be a 10-inch 78rpm single. This comes in a larger 40cm x 50cm frame and costs £99.00 including delivery.
The UK music charts began in May 1947 so we will not be able to find and frame a Number One record if the birth or wedding you wish to mark took place before then.
