Diffusers - This is basically a bottom for ceiling shades which will dim the light that escapes from the shade to give a subdued effect rather than a bright glare. They are not essential, in fact you may prefer a brighter light, but if you would like one there is an option to purchase one along wth your shade.
(Please note: I always make shades to be fitted with diffusers at least 10" deep to prevent the bulb from getting too close and with a special edge to prevent it from falling out. For this reason diffusers MUST be ordered with a shade. They cannot be added later.)
Made from:
Handmade in the UK from a fire safe laminate of PVC and paper, and finished off inside with a cotton tape for a seamless finish.

Standard size 12" Diameter - 8" Depth
Other sizes available 8" Diameter - 8" Depth ; 16" Diameter - 8" Depth ; 20" Diameter - 11" Depth
Please note: Only the 8" and 12" diameter shades are suitable for international delivery.
If the diameters and depths listed are not quite what you had in mind, do let me know as I do have other non-standard sizes available that might be just what you are looking for!

I think the lampshade looks fantastic, really pleased and had lots of good comments from visitors so far. It did take slightly longer to arrive than I would expect at about 16 days from ordering so would have liked perhaps an extra email to communicate an update on progress but otherwise pleased customer
