  I *love* this gift and so does my boyfriend who was the recipient. I bought it for Valentine's day, he's a big fan of maps and we live at opposite ends of the country so it was a very apt gift. The journey I had stitched was the one to our first meeting. It was stitched exactly how I wanted it and the end result was fantastic. Communication with the seller was brilliant, they were helpful and happy to accommodate my wishes. I look forward to eventually seeing it hanging on a wall in our home. Thank you Little Boys Room :)

  What a complete waste of money! £25 for a piece of cardboard with a map printed on it, with a tiny bit of thread to stitch your journey with. Something I could have printed myself on a home printer for half the price! Its disgusting that they can charge that much money. I feel like I've been ripped off & will not use these sellers again & I will not recommended them. I bought this as a 75th Birthday gift for a relative that has traveled the world & enjoys sowing, but I felt very embarrassed giving them a printed piece of cardboard. I had to try & explain what the item was, but how you sow onto cardboard baffles me. Not worth the money, looks good on the website but overall the product is very very poor.

  In response to your feed back that you have left on this product we just wanted you to be aware of the background to this map.. I can assure you this is printed on a professional printer and is set deliberately to mimic a traditional map, colour and image wise. The maps are all hand drawn and are then personalised, this is a product that took 6 months to bring to market and has gone through many changes to get the paper weight correct for stitching , the correct size needles to use and many other design elements. you are not just paying for the ink and paper but for the idea and design, [ map copyright is very tight and each one has been designed by us at great expense] We are sorry you are disappointed.regards thelittleboysroom

  Not the quality which I have to say was very high. However I was disappointed in the product and did not feel that it was worth £68. One of the stitching requests I asked for had not been done. Given the earlier problems I had I was not inclined to query this with the company but I would not use them again

  This is a lovely idea and the map design is attractive but it's the first time I've been disappointed with a purchase from notonthehighstreet.com. The quality of the printing isn't really any better than using a printer at home (especially as I ordered the A4 print) and so sadly I feel it is overpriced and not good value for money.

  great idea for a present, however very simple idea and over priced for what it consists of. it was something that had i had more time, i would have made myself instead of paying 25pound for a print off of a map. It would have been a fair price if the stitching was already done for you.

  Terrible quality - for that amount of money I should have got more than just a poorly printed map (was blurred and pixelated) on thin card.

  Exceedingly poor quality. The printing was poor and text virtually unreadable. Looked nothing like the advertised product. In light of that I thought it was very over priced.

  I am absolutely beyond delighted with the stitched journey map... My parents did a huge tour of Australia/New Zealand so as a Christmas present, I ordered this for them & the seller did a truly terrific job.. My parents adore it and it is now hung proudly on their wall. Seller very helpful and worked quickly too, especially considering my order was in over the hectic festive season! Couldn't be happier :)

  Terrible quality - just an A4 piece of paper - and although the personalisation was correct, the map was printed with a spelling error - Norwegen Sea - which meant I couldn't give it as a Christmas present. No alternative was offered and to obtain a refund the company insist that I return the item (and so have to take time out of my day to go to the post office) even though it will blatantly be of no use to anyone else! Very disappointing.

  Whilst the product was as described they were massively massively overpriced product and not value for money. If I had enough time before Christmas, they would have been returned. Awful.

  This item was a present for my boyfriend for Christmas and he loved the novelty of the idea! The map was of a good quality and as I chose the non-stitced version, the stitching onto the map was not hard to do and looked very effective.

  Was not representative of online pictures, basically a printed sheet of thick paper with a length of cotton and a loose needle. Very dispappointing, glad I did not pay the extra to have pre stitched/framed

  Great idea, bought for friends from NZ who are travelling round Europe. Very disappointed when it arrived, map is ok but not worth the £22 price tag, cotton provided is wrapped around a cheap bit of card telling you how to sew your journey. Looks good on the website but not in the flesh, when I tried to return the product I couldn't as it had been personalized - reply from seller 'The image on the web site was an interpretation of the map , the cotton bobbin is a prop , props are used in a lot of images to create a lifestyle image'. if the lifestyle image they are trying to create is cheap then they have succeeded! I'm too embarassed to give this as a gift and i'm thankful I didn't pay for the framed option! Complete waste of hard earned money.

As discussed we use a number of items in photographs that are not included with products across the site. The bobbin is vintage and would add at least £10.00 to the map making it too expensive, it would also make it very heavy and cost more to post we also wouldn't be able to find the quantity we would need. Thus we designed a neat Tag that holds the cotton and needle along with all instructions , this is printed on card and looks like a gift tag.The map is hand printed and hand drawn this is not a cheap item to produce and once stitched looks very usual and unique.   The wording on the map was intially printed wrong and I had to send it back. However I was impressed my the companies quick response when I notified them and they delt with this politely and efficently. I am completely happy with the map itself and would therfore rate this as excellent.

  No location points/hearts and the route stitched was not as requested. Very disappointed with the product. I would have opted to stitch myself had I known what I would receive.

We did explain that not every town is marked on the world map and we would stitch as close to your request as possible.   Not only is the print, absolutely amazing but the service was over and above. I ordered a print for my newly engaged best friends and wanted to find the perfect present.   unfortunately very poor quality frame, the back was quite unfinished and had the staples hanging out or just not in properly. This was for an important gift so had no time to contact seller to rectify the problem, but judging from how good a service I received from the company over the production and deliver i am sure that if I had have contacted regarding this issue, something would have been done.

  thread is far too large for size of needle sent and if you use a larger needle then the holes in the map are too big and it looks messy. had to throw my map away and think of another gift.
