  The presentation and size is small and it says it comes with the train and caboose and didn't I had to pay extra for the train at the front and nothing came at the end of it

  Absolutely what we imagined. Very high quality and very good value for money. Only criticism: we ordered a blue engine and received a red one, but that was still fine for the little boy recipient, so not a real complaint.

  I would rate ok rather than good or poor. Much smaller than picture showed. The letters fall off the train. The magnets are not great for small children either

  The train set was much smaller than I expected and understood from the advert. I was disappointed too in the quality given the price paid for the item.

  Love this train set so much that I actually ordered three sets! They look great and will decorate a room beautifully. I didn't order the gift wrapping though so worth noting that if you don't, each letter comes separately in a little plastic bag. If you intend this to be a gift for someone you will need to get a box sorted out.

  Very good product, reasonably priced and quick postage. Only disappointment was the letters were detachable from the base so I had to glue them on myself as I don't want my child to lose them.

  Great finish, looks really nice on bookshelf as a keepsake but my nephew can also use it as he gets older as a toy. Really pleased. Also had great customer service. I was v disorganised and ordered it in december so busy time for the company anyway and needed it the following weekend. Sent a message saying that my order was urgent and they got back in touch to say they would make sure it went out ASAP and sent a further message to confirm it had been dispatched so really impressed!

  Disappointed that the letters came off the train I thought they would be glued on - made it appear a bit 'cheap' due to the fact they easily fell off. Also did not like tha packaging - each letter came individual in a plastic bag - would have been nice to have the name made up and presented nicer. I did find the same product else where for cheaper after I bought it so better presentation for the raised cost would have been good.

  Thank you for your feedback, the letters are detachable as stated so that the child has more fun playing and mixing up the letters, they are sent out in individual bags so that the pieces stay together. If we took the trains out of their packaging the train would be very mixed up in transit.   The train is lovely, I was disappointed with the packaging and thought it would come in a nice box etc however the parts are in individual little packets. If this was sent direct to someone as a gift, it wouldn't be as overwhelming as I had thought, so avoid that choice. It is really a nursery ornament rather than a toy, which the company do point out themselves, the letters are not securely attached to the train part (this is not a flaw, it's how they are made). Having said all of this, Once put together on a windowsill or shelf it looks lovely.

  This is a lovely, well made and high quality gift for a little boy. When the carriages arrived they were smaller than I expected from the picture but I was still very pleased. My only issue is that the magnets at either end of each carriage, which enable them to be connected together, sometimes mean that the letters have to be connected 'backwards' as magnets only 'stick' one way! Perhaps when the recipient takes them out of their individual packages it will be possible to switch the magnets around.

  This is the second time I have ordered the full alphabet train for a present and definitely will recommend it. It's fun, bright, sturdy and educational - everything you'd wish from a toy. The first one is still being played with daily, despite being over two years old - speaking about favourite toy!

  Different train set sent than previously with no back carriage and letter 'S' was smaller than the rest and was turquoise while all other letters primary colours. which didn't look right. Disappointed.

  Whilst the train looked good, each of the letters had come off the carriage/peg and I had to superglue them back on before giving it as a gift. Not ideal!
