WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT?
No lectures, no indoctrination and fear free. This is the world of the GoodVines. A wine tasting that doesn’t so much break the rules as bend them. This is an evening where everyone is welcome, and the conversation around the wine is just that. You won’t be talked over or at, this is where fun is more important than formality. Wine is, after all, subjective. One persons ‘delightful’ is another’s ‘yuck’.
Whether you are a seasoned wine enthusiast or just want to get to grips with the Tesco shelves, you will find your thoughts matter to GoodVines. There will be six unusual wines to try, and a set theme for each event, carefully curated and without any complex jargon to baffle or confuse, all for less than your Friday night tab at the local. At the end of the tasting all the wines will be plonked on a big table for an open bar, and you will can work your way through whatever is left over.
Expect to leave feeling pleasantly joyful with a new found knowledge and a real enthusiasm for grapes - and you can’t ask for more from a wine tasting than that.
