Takae Mizutani and sons offers you unique and imaginative products to your home. Takae is a Japanese designer maker based in London and her ceramic tableware are produced in Cornwall, England by highly skilled craft person.

Takae has a wonderful way of looking at the world. She asks questions with a childlike naivety, resulting in egg cups as castles, ceramic horses for the toast soldiers, plates as snails and salt & pepper shakers as boat sails. She loves simple ideas which give you endless imagination... and spread the smile!

Every detail is thought through. The ceramics themselves are beautifully designed and made. The product comes in a gift box with a tiny leaflet inside describing the design concept… allowing the new owner to feel connected to Takae’s original thoughts.
