This funky wooden goose makes a perfect bedside table. With a flat back and two drawers you have plenty of storage options.
Creation knows no boundaries, whether it's about planks of wood or packing crates, many designers have crafted beautiful furniture objects out of them all.
The designer Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba had the brilliant idea of turning crates into animals. The result is amazing and definitely brings character to any interior space.
Every visible imperfection is indeed characteristic of the piece. In order to respect the original idea, the pieces were made by the same process used for real shipping crates.
This goose is made from a blend of wood and plywood. The design features 2 drawers, perfect for storing a range of small objects.
Designed by Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba, here quoted:
'Animals and their shapes have always had a strong attraction for me. It is an ancestral, ancient call to our inner instinct as well as its simple reference to nature. I always try to investigate the relationship man sets up with nature, until I find a syntheses that expresses our attitude or hint at paradoxical dynamics.'
This quirky little goose measures 65cm in length with a width of 38.5cm and it stands 66cm tall.
