The Snörk workshop produces beautiful contemporary inlayed wooden artwork using a combination of natural and dyed woods, juxtapositioned with pops of colour using enamel paints. Everything that comes out of the Snörk workshop is designed, inlayed, handpainted and finished by workshop founder Liz Swindells. Liz is heavily inspired by typographical old sign writing techniques and the folk art style which can often be seen on canal boats and old fairground rides. Stylistically Snörk combines beautiful illustrations with a touch of humour. She aims for people to fall in love with their new artwork and for her pieces to make your day a little bit brighter.
