Welcome to Snapdragon. If you are looking for handcrafted accessories with a bit of difference you have come to the right place.
In 2000 I gave up my desk job, retrained in horticulture, moved to the country and started Snapdragon.
In the summer I grow cut flowers and sketch a lot; then I transform the sketches into embroidered textiles.
I am inspired by whatever goes on in my garden - from flowers, chickens and seedheads to bunting, caravans and cakes - all life is here.
I work in small batches, using up every last scrap of fabric and each item is unique.
Everything is designed and made by me - working away in her vintage airstream caravan parked in the middle of the cutting garden in central Scotland.
