The Smashing Chintz 'Walking the Dogs' collection of mosaic brooches was inspired by a plate designed in the 1950s/60s by Alfred Meakin. Called 'Poodles' it features Scottie dogs, daschunds and poodles being walked by stylish Parisian women.
Here we have a selection of schnauzers in different colours and patterns and facing in different directions. Crockery with strong graphic qualities and a 50s feel has been chosen for making this range of mosaic brooches.
Recommended for jackets and coats rather than light weight clothing. Each brooch is suitable for wearing to walk the dog and will be equally happy sitting on a shelf whilst not being worn. Suitable as a gift to treasure for dog lovers of any age!
Dimensions: 7cm wide x 7.5cm tall.
For gift wrap requests the brooch can be presented in a black gift box made from recycled card/paper or wrapped up in colourful tissue paper and tied with a ribbon.
