You're never too young or old to start growing your own food! Included are varieties that will grow quickly, and others that will take their time, but the joy of watching a tiny seed grow into an enormous pumpkin or giant sunflower is well worth the wait!
What's in the Dad's Starter Pack box?
High quality seed varieties: Little gem lettuce, French beans, tasty courgettes, sweet summer carrots, Spanish peppers, Italian beetroot, rainbow chard, oak leaf lettuce, tumbling tom tomatoes, spinach.
Equipment and advice needed to start growing the seeds: mini propagator, bio-degradable pots made from rice husk and coconut husk, FSC oak dibblet, wooden plant markers, mini compost discs.
Excellent illustrated instructions are included, plus a handy notes pencil.
What's in the Me seeds pack?
Wonderful seed varieties to engage and enthuse: giant sunflowers, tasty sweetcorn, enormous pumpkins, quick cress.
Equipment and advice needed to start growing the seeds: mini biodegradable pots made from coconut husk, wooden plant markers, compost disc. Amazing, add water and match them rise!
Wonderful illustrated Instructions are included for colouring in.

Growing tips:
You can start sowing seeds from February.
Seeds can be started indoors in the pots and containers supplied filled with compost and some can be sown directly in a veg patch outside after any frosts in spring.

I don't think the description on the website was good. The item came in two separate boxes, when the description made me believe that everything was in one portable box.

10 Feb 2013This product does not state 'Dad and me' on it, you just get sent a vegetable variety pack and a small kids box. Disappointing purchase for my son who had thought this would be an ideal gift for his father. £50 not very well spent.
