  The product was good but did not arrive until 3 April when it had been ordered on 13 March as a gift for mothering Sunday on 18th, the website said 3-5 days delivery so I expected it to arrive on time.

  I used your website and bought this product as I was looking for a nice mother's day gift at relatively short notice. I chose this product as it was advertised in the 'Express gifts in time for mother's day' section of your website. AFTER purchasing the company then informed me that this product could not be delivered in time for mother's day at all. Needless to say, it should not have been advertised under this mis-leading heading.

  I ordered 2 boards in the first week of dec for 2 christmas presents and were due for delivery 17th dec. I had to chase for delivery as I had not heard anything but was then told with only a few days to Xmas that my order would not make it because of the gales in scotland. The supplier did refund me for one board and as a nice gesture they did in fact still send me the second board (With the other Board in january) However overall I thought the quality was poor, the chalk had broken when they were opened and the stencilling was wonky. I was rather disappointed by the fact that they took so long. I really appreciate there was nothing that could be done about the weather but it was oy when I contacted the company on my due dispatch date of 17th dec to see if they had been sent, that I was then told the orders would not get to me in time because of the gales. If my orders were to be dispatched on the 17th they should have been ready and packed anyway by the time the weather problems really hit so I think this supplier overstretched themselves.

  Excellent service- the first one got lost in the post and the seller happily made another and sent it again, recorded delivery. The chalkboard was perfect, just what we wanted, and the chalk arrived in one piece! Would definitely recommend this seller and the website, as always, promotes beautiful goods. Thank you!

  The chalkboard arrived very quickly after I sent the seller a message to say it was a gift needed by a certain date. I was very impressed by this. Although the product was good, the writing on it was a bit disappointing as it appeared to be just a cheap stencil.

  I received an email saying that my product had been dispatched and that I would receive it within 3-5 days and had to send an email about 10days later because it still hadn't arrived but having said that, it was dispatched by recorded delivery soon after and I am very pleased with the product.

  The product was advertised as a last minute valentines day product but despite ordering a week before the 14th, it arrived a day after, not the seller's fault but poor advertising I think. However, the product is brilliant, good value, and the seller was great to deal with

  I have ordered from "Not on the High Street.com" before and previously was thrilled. Unfortunately I was really disappointed with the service as I ordered the personalised chalkboard in plently of time (Nov) as a gift for family for Christmas and was really disapointed that I didn't recieve it in time for Christmas. When the board arrived the chalk was broken in the post. It was a shame as the board itself is lovely, just unfortunate it was let down by the service.

  I understand the high winds in Scotland disrupted your work. What I do not understand is that even if the high winds did not occur my order would of still not of been ready, which makes me angry. it was due to arrive in 2 days and then I got the email about the high winds. It should have nearly of been completed 2 days before estimated delivery time!! It took 6 weeks for my order to get to me after placing my order. If you were more organised it would have been ready before the winds and could have been sent after the weather disruption, therefore not leaving me waiting for 6 weeks.

  Because I STILL have not received it!! I placed the order nearly 2 months ago, it was meant to be a Christmas present!! Absolutely awful company, I don't mean notonthehighstreet, I mean the company that provided the chalkboard

  I am so sorry for the original delays. As we explained we had lost electricity for a week back due to huge gales in early December and were behind with orders so offered you a complete refund. You very kindly said you were happy to wait but would prefer delivery after 1 January. We posted your board out on 5 January - there is no post in Scotland from 31 Dec until 4 January. We didn't hear that it hadn't arrived until Saturday 21 January. I am so sorry but it does occasionally happen that items are held at the local sorting office for collection if there was nobody in when they were delivered. Or very, very occasionally parcels do go astray. We made a new board for you over the weekend and posted out by recorded delivery on Monday 23 Jan. I really hate to have an unhappy customer and I realise this has been very disappointing. Please do let me know whether the chalkboard has now been received. With all good wishes Nicky at Seahorse

  I haven't seen the chalkboards as they were sent direct to the recipients but they seem pleased with them. They were delivered late because of problems caused by the gales in Scotland which was a pity but couldn't be helped. I was very pleased with the way I was kept informed of the situation and would use the company again.

  A slight typo in the 'personalised' part meant the item received was unsuitable. The company accepted the mistake quickly, apologised, and sent a new one straight away. I was impressed by their customer service and will shop with them again.

  Nice product, but had total confusion as to whether I was going to to receive it or not as I was refunded £1.95 on 21 Dec and emailed that this was due to supplier being unable to fulfill order. So after checking with Not On the High St they concluded that yes unfortunately I wouldn't be receiving my order. I then did receive the order on the 29 Dec. In the mean time I had bought the person an alternative present so the chalk board is now redundant until next Xmas.

  I didn't get to see the final product as it was bought as a gift, however the recipients were delighted with it. Seahorse were brilliant in the run in to Christmas in responding to messages and even changing the delivery address at the last minute. Thank you very much!

  Took over 1 month for delivery, communication was initially poor and request for ribbon not originally honoured. This has now been rectified however after christmas by which time the gifts have already been given.

  The chalkboard was nice but only just received it in time for christmas. I think tis seller needs to rethink there postage and packaging as it was sent send class in a jiffy bag and the chalk was broken upon arrival.

  Item took weeks to be sent then arrived after my friends anniversary. I had to email the supplier as to where it was ( I think they were unaware of my order) I would not buy from them again which is a shame as the chalkboard was lovely

  On the second chalkboard I ordered the phrase had not been done as i had requested. It had been poorly done with irregular spacings in between the letters. They provided a very slow and sadly disappointing service.

  The heart chalk board is lovely! Really nice to have the personal touch on it with the writing and cannot see any kind of lines as a previous review mentioned. It came with the tag chalk holder and a stick of chalk as shown on the photos. Nice and light to hang on the wall of our kitchen and looks great. Only comment would have been maybe we should have chosen the larger size so we could write even more on it!!!
