The perfect evening's enjoyment for any history buff or Jane Austen fan, this group event is designed for friends, client entertainment or anyone looking to host a less ordinary dinner party.
Guests will dine on food familiar to Jane Austen and her characters, and be entertained by a professional opera singer and pianist who perform popular music of the 18th century.
Mistress of Ceremonies, Jane Peyton, will regale the audience with fascinating insights about polite society during Jane Austen's time and reveal facts – including why there was always a dancing scene in Jane Austen's books.

LOCATION: Events are held in the private rooms of various London pubs (available venues will vary depending on the size of your group).
DURATION: 2-3 hours
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
This is a group experience for 10-24 people.
Events can be run on weekday or Saturday evenings from 6.30pm (depending on the availability of the musicians).
The price includes a three-course meal per person, private room hire, a professional opera singer, pianist and Mistress of Ceremonies, plus one drink per person – a pint of beer or cider, 175ml glass of house wine, spirit (single measure) with a mixer, or soft drink. Extra drinks can be bought at the venue.
Each guest will also receive a signed copy of Jane Peyton's bestselling book, 'School of Booze' – a practical guide to alcoholic drinks and a cultural history of alcohol.

HOW TO BOOK
Contact information will be provided on your voucher.
Voucher holders must book and redeem their places on the experience within six months of the order date.
An e-voucher will be delivered to your registered email address once your order has been accepted by the seller (usually within 24-48hrs after purchase). If you choose an optional voucher pack, this will be sent by post to your chosen delivery address; see the top of this page for estimated delivery dates. Your pack will contain a printed gift envelope, wallet and printed voucher, and be delivered free of charge.
The voucher gift pack measures approximately 18x13cm.

Bookings must be confirmed with the seller (School of Booze) at least 28 days before your chosen event date.
Should you wish to cancel your booking, and provide the seller with at least 14 days' notice before the event date, you will receive a full refund. For booking cancellations made between 7-14 days before the event date, 50% of the total order value will be refunded. No refunds will be provided for bookings cancelled 0-7 days before the event date.
