About
Knitted Lambswool to love!
Sally Nencini studied fashion at the Royal College of Art and has always had a very strong interest in textile design and pattern.
Her work is produced at her home studio in Norwich on domestic knitting machines, as well as working with a small family run knitting factory in Scotland to produce the blankets and gloves.
Since working in the fashion industry she has continued her love of creating by designing by making machine knitted toys, blankets, cushions and wearable accessories using soft lambswool. Sally has also trained as an upholsterer and has developed a range of lambswool upholstered footstools made from recycled cardboard tubes.
Her love of vintage toys, especially the imagery and colours of early Galt and Abbatt wooden puzzles and picture card games show as a big influence in her work.
All her work is hand made in the UK.
