Even the smallest items deserve and receive the greatest attention to detail. All items are handmade in Derbyshire using sustainable hardwoods.

Since 2018 Roland Smith has been working out of his workshop located in the historic stone mills of Pleasley Vale. He divides his time fairly evenly between usually having at least one large furniture project on the go at the same time as working on the design and construction of a range of smaller wooden items such as coasters, lamps and knife blocks.

Everything in Roland’s storefront is hand made by him. He also does the majority of the designing, while enthusiastically welcoming new ideas from friends, family and customers. Or anyone else.
