re:made

re:made began in 2009 shortly after I moved with my family to the West of Scotland. Having trained in Textiles and Fine Art, I taught for ten years in various Art Colleges in the UK while continuing my own fine art practice and I saw this move as an opportunity to concentrate on doing what I love best; making objects out of beautiful materials.

re:made offers a range of contemporary, eco friendly, handmade goods using mixed media and textile materials in a creative and sustainable way.

The range includes knitted and sewn accessories, vintage button jewellery and personalised artworks. Many of the products have a recycled element or are made entirely from recycled materials, others have an emphasis on natural and environmentally friendly materials.

The essence of re:made is in the making - it is very important to me that each product is hand finished to the highest possible standard.
