A beautiful wood ampersand from the 1930s complete with scratches and dents from it's war torn past.
Printed letterpress one at a time on an antique Victorian treadle press using muscle power and an original vintage large wood letter 'Poynder' ampersand made by Delittle York UK 1935.
The back of the coasters feature a beautiful impression of hand set Verona lead type from the same era.
The craft of letterpress causes variations in ink and leaves a tactile impression in the card. Wood letters have acquire knocks and dents from their past working life, all these imperfections make each print unique.
Pack of 10 coasters beautifully packaged and sealed in a clear biodegradable bag.
