Hand cut and painted to order, our vintage style signs are hand made with love here in the potting shed in the beautiful historic city of York. We enjoy making our signs and we think it shows in our work.
We love working with wood and so each piece is cut, painted and finished by hand here. We gift wrap every sign whether it is requested or not because we believe in quality and we want you to experience the pleasure of receiving your order as if it was a gift to yourself!

'Secret Garden'
Secret Garden sign (24" x 6").....wonderfully eccentric and so typical of an English country garden ~ these signs are a must to add a touch of magic and mystery to your garden....
Straight from the potting shed with a choice of a colour washed wood stained, natural look or a painted weathered vintage look~both offering the same charm of having been hung on a 'secret' doorway or gate for many years!
The gentle colour washed wood signs have the effect of being a part of the natural surroundings~ideal for a more subtle, look.
Just imagine your guests 'discovering' an old gate or doorway (you could place a door or gate there and let it weather if you haven't already got one!).
The painted and weathered vintage style sign is ideal for a more shabby chic appearance~we offer this gorgeous sign in vintage white, vintage cream,soft sage,duck egg, vintage rose and twine.
This large wall hanging makes quite a statement and has a sawtooth hanger attached to the back.
The knots and beautiful detail and texture of the wood shows through on the colour washed signs and we have weathered the painted and waxed signs to allow subtle base coats and wood to show through in places that would naturally be worn away over time!
These signs are finished for external or internal use (you may want to place one in a summerhouse,orangery, garden or conservatory!)
