Hand cut and painted to order, our vintage style signs are hand made with love here in the potting shed in the beautiful historic city of York. We enjoy making our signs and we think it shows in our work.
We love working with wood and so each piece is cut, painted and finished by hand here. We gift wrap every sign whether it is requested or not because we believe in quality and we want you to experience the pleasure of receiving your order as if it was a gift to yourself!

Crafted from solid wood, hand painted with layers of thick vintage cream or vintage white over a coal base, before the lettering is hand painted and finished with wax and seal, creating a beautiful heirloom quality finish.

I ordered my goods from Potting Shed Designs. They were most helpful when choosing my item. They kept me informed of it's progress and it arrived before the date advise. I was thrilled with it when it arrived and my husband, for whom it was a gift, loved it!

I ordered this sign as a present for my Sister and Brother-in-law. Despite ordering it very close to their wedding- the seller managed to get it to me in plenty of time (thank you again). It was beautifully wrapped and the sign also is beautiful and looks really nice hanging on their wall. A great gift.
